Winter Family Camp Weekend

Registration is open to ONLY 20 Families/Groups.

Online registration is open to GSOC members, out of Council members, and non-members. 

Experience a whole new side of winter. Bundle up and enjoy the crisp mountain air at camp. Chill out in a canoe, take aim at our snowflake archery targets, then come inside to warm your hands with a cup of Scherman cocoa. Don’t forget to practice your skit to perform by the campfire. Let the beauty of a star-studded night sky take your breath away. Bring your hats, mittens, and any other winter essentials. Open to levels: Daisy (K-1), Brownie (2-3), Junior (4-5), Cadette (6-8), Senior (9-10), Ambassador (11-12). Pricing for the Ranch House Cabins is listed below. All weekend camps must have proper youth-to-adult ratios.

Attendees will stay in winterized semi-private Ranch House Cabins, with a shared restroom and sink area.

Four meals are included starting with Saturday breakfast and ending with breakfast on Sunday. Families are responsible for providing their own dinner on Friday.

There is no charge for children under four years of age, and all attendees must be registered for the family camp weekend.

Friday night optional program may include: a night hike and/or star gazing.

Ranch House Cabin pricing: 

  • Tier 1 = $200
  • Tier 2 = $230
  • Tier 3 = $265

 

All volunteers attending weekend camps must complete a fingerprint-based background check and an online Mandated Reporter Training. 

If you have not completed this process, email customercare@girlscoutsoc.org and put Mandated Reporter Training and/or Fingerprinting in the subject line. 

The only exception to this is if you’re coming to weekend camp as a parent/guardian and camper pair and are not supervising campers who are not related to you in any capacity, you do not need to complete fingerprinting and Mandated Reporter training requirements.

A confirmation email with all camp details will be sent to those registered closer to camp. If you have any questions, please email customercare@girlscoutsoc.org.

 

GSOC follows current CDC COVID-19 guidelines. Event participants will be notified if additional action is required.

 

This event accepts GSOC Cookie Dough, GSOC Bucks, and GSOC Juliette Dollars! Girl Scouts must complete online registration and pay deposit or pay in full. Next fill out the Reimbursement form prior to participating in the event.

Cancellation Policy
If you would like to cancel or receive a refund for Weekend Camp, a written request is required. Please email your request to CustomerCare@GirlScoutsOC.org or mail your request to GSOC. Please include the full names of those who cannot attend, the camp program name and the camp date.

More than 4 weeks prior to camp: Full refund minus $30 cancellation fee per person.

2-4 weeks prior to camp: 50% refund.

Less than 2 weeks prior to camp: No refund (except for medical reasons - must be approved by GSOC).
