Troop Cabin Camping
Pack your camping gear and sense of adventure for a weekend of troop togetherness at camp! Participate in an assortment of camp activities and have time to relax or spend time on troop activities during the weekend. Troops are responsible for their own meals while at camp. Open to levels: Brownie (2-3), Junior (4-5), Cadette (6-8), Senior (9-10), Ambassador (11-12). Lower Camp Cabins, Wanish & Adoette. All weekend camps must have proper you-to-adult ratios.
** Pricing for 2024 Weekend Camps**
Every camper should have the opportunity to attend camp, regardless of their financial situation. The three-tiered pricing program allows troops and families to see the actual “per participant” cost (Tier 3) to operate Camp Scherman for Weekend Camps and choose from the three pricing options. Please select the pricing tier most appropriate for your family and or troops' financial circumstances. All participants will have the same unforgettable camp experience, regardless of the pricing tier.
- Tier 1 = $110
- Tier 2 = $130
- Tier 3 = $150
All volunteers attending weekend camps must complete a fingerprint-based background check and an online Mandated Reporter Training.
If you have not completed this process, email customercare@girlscoutsoc.org and put Mandated Reporter Training and/or Fingerprinting in the subject line.
The only exception to this is if you’re coming to weekend camp as a parent/guardian and camper pair and are not supervising campers who are not related to you in any capacity, you do not need to complete fingerprinting and Mandated Reporter training requirements.
