
Silver Award Training
Adult Learning (Training) is recommended for Cadette Leaders wishing to be a project advisor for girls in earning the Girl Scout Silver Award.
The Girl Scout Silver Award is the highest award that can be earned by a Girl Scout Cadette in the 6-8th grades. Guidelines for earning the Silver Award are found in the Handbook section of The Girl's Guide to Girl Scouting for Cadettes.
Girl Scout Silver Award Training gives leadership strategies and applicable tips specific to the Girl Scout Silver Award. This course has been developed with the help of volunteers, is trained by volunteers, and is intended for volunteers.
By the end of Silver Award Training, you will be able to:
- Work with girls who have completed or nearly completed a Cadette Journey and are ready to focus on the Silver Award Take Action project.
- Understand what it means to Take Action and how to use the Guidelines for Girl Scout Cadettes to support girls' efforts to make the world a better place.
