Huntington Beach Winter Day Camp: Holidays Around the World

Day Camp Location: Seal Beach, CA

Join local Huntington Beach Girl Scouts with "Holidays Around the World"!

Girl Scouts will have the opportunity to learn about different cultures and their holidays through games, songs, crafts, and more!

What to Bring:

• Sack lunch
• Reusable water bottle
• Sweater or sweatshirt
• Closed-toe/closed-heel shoes (sneakers preferred)

Volunteers:

Parent Volunteers are always welcome and necessary for camp to happen!

• Each Volunteer must be background screened, approved, fingerprinted, and have taken the mandated reporter training prior to camp.

• Volunteers will also need to attend a short Zoom training before camp (Date/Time TBD).

Adult Volunteer Discounts & Pricing:

• 1 day of volunteering – $20 off one Girl Scout Camper (applied as a reimbursement)

• 2 days of volunteering – $65 off one Girl Scout Camper (applied as a reimbursement)

• Cost for Adult Volunteers: $10

(Covers shirt and documents)

Youth Pricing 

Campers:

• TK Daisy through 4th Grade Junior

• Cost: $80

(Includes crafts, badge-earning opportunities, and more)

Junior Helpers:

• 5th & 6th Grade Girl Scouts

• Cost: $40

(Experience the 2-day camp while assisting and learning leadership skills)

GEMS (Girls with Extra Maturity):

• 7th Grade and above

• Prepared for the responsibility of planning, running programming, and taking on extra leadership opportunities

• Training and planning session held prior to camp (Date/Time TBD)

• Cost: $20

(Covers documents, training, and shirt)

This event accepts GSOC Cookie Dough, GSOC OC Bucks, and GSOC Juliette Dollars! Girls must complete online registration and pay in full. Cookie Dough, OC Bucks and Juliette Dollars must be submitted to the camp director prior to the end of camp. You will receive a refund once the amount has been verified.
