Horseback Riding Program Wednesdays
This is a 4 series event starting on Wednesdays Jan 4 and every Wednesday to Jan 25
- Girl Scout Juniors and up will gain skills and knowledge of horse psychology, physical aspects of horses, feeding and general care to name a few of the skills. Our aim is that every student improves at his or her own individual pace, and that together, we all can gain greater respect and appreciation for our horses. In addition to riding, we strive to educate our students in all areas of horsemanship. These include horse anatomy, first aid, behavior, equipment, nutrition, and much more. Each one of our students learns at his or her own pace. Whether you want to gain poise and self-confidence on horseback, prepare for a horseback vacation or dude ranch, take the first steps towards owning your own horse, we are conscious of your goals and teach towards them. Lessons are informative, interactive, and fun! Students strengthen their legs and core, learn correct posture, balance, and communication skills, practice patterns, play games and maneuver through obstacle courses.
