GSOC Summer Boating Day Camp - Week 4

Time: 8:30am - 5pm
Join us for a fun and water filled boating day camp just for Girl Scouts! Day camp will be held at the GSLC in Newport Beach and together in partnership with the OCC School of Sailing and the City of Newport Beach. Campers will participate in fun and engaging activities, and a focus on boating with the OCC School of Sailing. This day camp program will provide a safe and supportive environment for campers to discover boating, learn new skills, make new friends, and bring together the best of land and sea! Boating day camp will run Monday to Friday and each camper will get a special day camp shirt and a patch. A badge sheet will be included at the end of the session to show what badges and steps were completed during day camp.
*Prerequisite: All campers must be able to swim 50yds. A swim test will be done on the first day before the campers start the boating program and is required for the boating portion of the camp program.

GSOC follows current CDC COVID-19 guidelines. Camp participants will be notified if additional action is required.
This camp accepts GSOC Cookie Dough, GSOC OC Bucks, and GSOC Juliette Dollars! Girl Scouts must complete online registration and pay deposit or in full. Then fill out the Reimbursement form prior to participating in the camp.
Campership Assistance Fund:
Camperships are awarded to GSOC youth campers with a current Girl Scout membership on the basis of financial need only and are available for Camp Scherman summer sleepaway camps, Camp Scherman weekend camps and GSOC day camps. Camperships must be submitted no less than 6 weeks prior to the start day of the camp.
