Camp Scherman is the perfect place for a weekend getaway to have fun and discover the outdoors with a special person – whether it's moms, grandmas, aunts, or any other special gal! Together, you can enjoy the beauty of camp while you canoe, hike, and participate in other exciting camp activities. This unique experience allows you to create lasting memories while strengthening your bond. With a range of activities and the serene outdoor setting, Camp Scherman offers an unforgettable adventure for both you and your special companion. The weekend includes four meals, starting with breakfast on Saturday and ending with breakfast on Sunday. Open to levels: Daisy (K-1), Brownie (2-3), Junior (4-5), Cadette (6-8), Senior (9-10), Ambassador (11-12). Pricing for the Ranch House Cabins is listed below. All weekend camps must have a proper youth-to-adult ratio. Open to Troops and individual Girl Scouts with Parent/guardian!
**Pricing for Weekend Camps**
Every camper should have the opportunity to attend camp, regardless of their financial situation. The three-tiered pricing program allows troops and families to see the actual “per participant” cost (Tier 3) to operate Camp Scherman for Weekend Camps and choose from the three pricing options. Please select the pricing tier most appropriate for your family and or troops' financial circumstances. All participants will have the same unforgettable camp experience, regardless of the pricing tier.
Ranch House Cabin pricing:
- Tier 1 = $200
- Tier 2 = $230
- Tier 3 = $265
All volunteers attending weekend camps must complete a fingerprint-based background check and an online Mandated Reporter Training.
If you have not completed this process, email customercare@girlscoutsoc.org and put Mandated Reporter Training and/or Fingerprinting in the subject line.
The only exception to this is if you’re coming to weekend camp as a parent/guardian and camper pair and are not supervising campers who are not related to you in any capacity, you do not need to complete fingerprinting and Mandated Reporter training requirements.
