An older Girl Scout weekend at Catalina Island Camp for Girl Scouts 6th grade and up. Spend a weekend in beachside cabins and spend some time kayaking, hiking, and discovering the nearby trails, archery and challenge yourself on the climbing wall. The weekend event fees include camp activities, 5 meals starting with dinner on Friday and ending with breakfast on Sunday, and boat transportation.
The boat to Catalina will depart on Friday from San Pedro. Specific departure and return times will be available as the date gets closer. Please account for traffic and parking challenges- the boat will depart on time on Friday. Participants will depart Sunday morning from Catalina Island Camp at 11AM. **Previous trips have left at 3PM on Friday and returned on Sunday 1:30PM.**
This is not a drop off event, all troop registrations must have proper Girl Scout: adult ratios. This event is open to troops and Girl Scout Juliettes- 6th grade and up.
$135 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration.
Catalina Island Camp is part of LA County, and their masking requirements may be different than Orange County and may change prior to the start of the weekend camp. Catalina Island Camp currently requires masks during mealtimes- when participants are up from their seats in the dining area, when coming through the serving line, in restrooms and inside any building they do not sleep in. Masks may be required when on the Catalina Express to and from the camp, and while in the terminal.
