Family Camp 2025
Online registration is open to GSOC members, out of Council members and non-members.
Have a unique and relaxing weekend camp experience with family and friends. Explore Camp Scherman’s natural beauty and participate in staff-planned nature and camp activities for all ages, including: hiking, crafts, games, low ropes, evening campfire programs, archery, and canoeing.
You can provide your own tent, RV/camper, or there are two cabin options for families wanting to stay in cabins. Stay in one of our lower camp cabins or upgrade to a Ranch House cabin. Bring a propane stove to prepare your own meals or sign up for our weekend meal plan that includes seven meals prepared in our kitchen. Attendance and meals are free for children four and under (but all attendees must be registered).
Accommodations
RV, Tent, or Camper $75.00 per person
Lower Camp Cabins $80.00 per person.
Ranch House Cabins $90.00 per person.
Additional optional fee(s):
Meals $75.00 per person for 7 meals
*Meals include: Breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner on Saturday and Sunday, and breakfast on Monday.
Note: Campfire program includes songs, skits and s’mores, but if wildfire risk is high, there may not be actual campfires permitted.

GSOC follows current CDC COVID-19 guidelines. Camp participants will be notified if additional action is required.
This camp accepts GSOC Cookie Dough, GSOC OC Bucks, and GSOC Juliette Dollars! Girl Scouts must complete online registration and pay deposit or in full. Then fill out the Reimbursement form prior to participating in the camp.
Campership Assistance Fund:
Camperships are awarded to GSOC youth campers with a current Girl Scout membership on the basis of financial need only and are available for Camp Scherman summer sleepaway camps, Camp Scherman weekend camps and GSOC day camps. Camperships must be submitted no less than 6 weeks prior to the start day of the camp.
