The Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange and Girl Scouts of Orange County invites Girl Scouts to celebrate Mass during Girl Scout Week. Girl Scouts of all ages and families are invited to register to attend the Diocesan Girl Scout Mass & Awards Reception. Girl Scouts wear Girl Scout uniform to celebrate Mass at Christ Cathedral in Garden Grove. All participants will receive a special blessing. Eligible Girl Scouts will receive earned faith awards and recognitions including My Promise, My Faith Awards, OC Faith Award certificates, Catholic religious recognitions, and Gold Award Girl Scout recognition at the Awards Reception.
Families are encouraged to enjoy this event together. Please register adults and tag-a-longs on the registration form to let us know how many people to expect at the Diocesan Girl Scout Mass & Awards Reception.
Girl Scout Cadettes-Ambassadors interested in serving in specific roles during mass and/or the reception submit the Diocesan Mass & Awards Reception Interest Form.

AWARD INFORMATION
My Promise, My Faith (MPMF) Awards
GSOC encourages all Girl Scouts to earn the My Promise, My Faith (MPMF) Awards and OC Faith Award certificates are presented to Girl Scouts who have earned multiple MPMF awards from year to year.
OC Faith Awards
GSOC encourages Girl Scout Daisies-Ambassadors to earn My Promise, My Faith Awards every year. Cadettes-Ambassadors who have earned multiple My Promise, My Faith Awards can receive an OC Faith Award certificate at Awards Reception. To receive an award certificate, indicate the Girl Scout Cadette-Ambassador has earned 7 or more MPMF Awards or all 13 MPMF Awards as part of the event registration AND submit the Girl Scout Faith Awards Report Form to share what they have earned.
Religious Recognitions
Girl Scout Daisies-Ambassadors can earn faith specific Religious Recognitions.
Religious Recognitions for the Roman Catholic Church include:
Girl Scouts and Faith program information, Religious Books Order Form, Religious Medals, and Patches Order Form are available through the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange County Office for Family Life. To receive a Catholic Religious Recognition, indicate the Girl Scout has earned a religious recognition as part of the event registration AND submit the order form to the Office for Family Life to purchase the Religious Medal.
