Join us for a wild time as we learn about animals around the world! Science, crafts, games and, of course, plenty of singing and fun all week. Friday night is our fireless campfire program for all families. Snacks and Friday night dinner included, along with a t-shirt and custom patch. Camp is 1pm - 7pm Monday through Thursday, & 1pm - 9pm on Friday.
 

Day Camp is a fun individual event. Campers will be placed in “units” based on their grade in the fall and the availability of adult supervision and Older Girl Scout volunteers. 

 

TRANSPORTATION… is the parents’ responsibility.  

 

DAY CAMP SERVICE PROJECT: 

Please save pull tabs from soda cans for our service project for the Ronald McDonald House. There will be a contest to see which unit can bring in the most pop tabs! Must be aluminum cans.     

Youth Staff (entering 7th-12th grade): 

PLANNING and LEADING at Brea Girl Scout Day Camp is a great way to complete many requirements for service or leadership recognition while you have fun and make new friends. Cadette (entering 7th grade and at least 12 years old), Senior, and Ambassador Staff will have the opportunity to teach songs, games, skills, crafts and assist with camper units.

 

Boys (6-10 years old): 

Boys may only attend day camp with a parent or guardian volunteer. They will have their own program and fun!

 

Pixies (3-5 years old):

Pixies must be fully potty trained and attend camp with a parent or guardian volunteer. They will have their own program and fun!

 

Adult Volunteers: VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! Our camp can't run without adult support! We need 1 full-time adult volunteer for every 6 campers. If you're able to help, we would love to have you join us. We will train and you get to spend precious time with your Girl Scout plus be a role model for all our campers. It really is a fun time for everyone!

Part-time (1-4 days) volunteers are also accepted.

Adult Volunteer Discount: 

Full-time (5 days) Volunteers will receive a 50% reimbursement for one of their day campers at the conclusion of day camp.

All volunteers attending Service Unit Day camps must have a Girl Scout membership, completed name-based background check, fingerprint-based background check and an online Mandated Reporter Training. 

If you have not completed this process, email customercare@girlscoutsoc.org and put Mandated Reporter Training and/or Fingerprinting in the subject line. 

The only exception to this is if you’re volunteering for only 1 day.

Why is this required?

 

Mandatory Training for Youth Staff and Adult Volunteers:

Youth Staff Training: Friday, June 12th at 7pm in Brea.

Adult Training: Friday, June 12th at 7pm in Brea.  

One t-shirt is included with every registration. Extra t-shirts are available for purchase at $10 per t-shirt.

**Pixie and Boy campers may only attend with their adult volunteer parent or guardian on days they are volunteering at camp**
 

Health history and other camp forms will be collected through CampDoc.com, a secure and easy-to use electronic health record system for camps. Look for an invitation email from CampDoc.com approximately one week after registration is completed. 

 

This event accepts GSOC Cookie Dough, GSOC OC Bucks, and GSOC Juliette Dollars! Girls must complete online registration and pay in full. Cookie Dough, OC Bucks and Juliette Dollars must be submitted to the camp director prior to attending camp. You will receive a refund at the conclusion of camp and once the amount has been verified.
