Yorba Linda Day Camp

Storybook adventures will lead us to solve mysteries, experience magic, travel to other lands, draw comics and make friends along the way. Campers are placed in camper units by Girl Scout program levels.

Optional field trip for Juniors (entering 5th grade and Cadettes (entering 6th and 7th grade) additional cost $35. Space is limited to 42 campers.

Take a trip to the International Printing Museum in Carson. Campers will explore book arts through hands on workshops.

Adult volunteers: All adults at Yorba Linda Day Camp are volunteers! We need one adult volunteer for every 6 campers. Girl Scout day camp requires a lot of volunteers for the girls to have a great week at camp! Please come join us for a day or two or even the week at camp! Program activities at camp are led by older Girl Scouts, Volunteers help campers by encouraging them to try activities, making sure camper units are on time to activities and assist with other general camp activities. Everything is pre-planned giving you the chance to enjoy the magic of Girl Scouts.

Volunteers must become registered members of Girl Scouts. Who can volunteer parents, siblings over 18, grandparents, college students, aunts, and anyone else over 18 that meets the registration and mandate requirement.

YLGS Day Camp places campers with adult volunteers first. If we are unable to place your camper, you will be notified by June 7 and camp fees will fully be refunded.  Help us recruit volunteers if you are unable to help, please ask family members and friends over 18. Grandparents and other relatives have had a great time at camp!  Every camper unit needs two adults every day at camp.

All volunteers attending Service Unit Day camps must complete a fingerprint-based background check and an online child abuse identification/reporting training. 

If you have not completed this process, email customercare@girlscoutsoc.org and put Child Abuse Training and/or Fingerprinting in the subject line. 

The only exception to this is if you’re volunteering for only 1 day. 

Adult orientation pick one session to attend: June 10th 10am - 11:15am, 7pm - 8p or June 17th 7pm - 8:15pm located at Yorba Linda Girl Scout Program Center, 4652 Casa Loma Ave, Yorba Linda, Ca. 

Youth Staff Mandatory training June 8th 4p - 8p at the Yorba Linda Program Girl Scout Program Center 4652, Casa Loma Ave, Yorba Linda, Ca.

One t-shirt is included with every registration except for adult volunteers volunteering less then 2 days. There will be an option to purchase one additional t-shirt for $10.

Girls Scout Youth Staff (Girls entering 7th-12th grade) $30
Boy Camper (Boys K-6th Grade and no younger than 5 years old. Must be with a full-time adult volunteer)* $10-$40
Pixie Camper (ages 3-5, must be potty trained) $10-$40
Adult Volunteers (3 - 5 Days) $0
Adult Volunteers (Less than 2 Days) $0


*Boy campers may only attend with their adult volunteer parent or guardian on the days they are volunteering at camp and must be at least 5 years old at the time of camp.

*Pixie campers must have a parent volunteering and be potty trained between the age of 3- 5. Minimum of 5 pixies must register for the program to run. Full refund if minimum not met.

 

This event accepts Cookie Dough, OC Bucks, and Juliette Dollars! Girls must complete online registration and pay in full. Then submit cookie dough to the camp director.

 

Health history and other camp forms will be collected through CampDoc.com, a secure and easy-to use electronic health record system for camps. Look for an invitation email from CampDoc.com approximately one week after registration is completed. All forms must be completed 2 weeks prior to Day Camp.
