Levels: Seniors & Ambassadors

Calling all Senior and Ambassador Mariners! Join us for another year of GAM. This is a weekend of nautical and water, fun awaits you all!

This tent camping, and fun competitive event for Senior and Ambassador Girl Scouts is held at Newport Dunes annually. Troops come out and compete against each other in swimming, boating, knots, compass, relative bearing and more. It is a great time for older girls to see each other and spend a weekend having fun on the water. A competitive spirit is optional, but good sportsmanship is required. 

  • Event fee: $55 per participant (girl and adult) in Council members/ $65 Out of Council members
  • Friday night dinner (optional): $10 per participant.

OD (Office of the Deck) Meeting will be held via zoom,

Monday, March 11 at 6pm Virtual OD meeting for new troops and returning troop to get updated event information and have any and all questions answered.

Attendance at one or the other will be required, but not both.

  • GSOC follows current CDC COVID-19 guidelines. Event participants will be notified if additional action is required
  •  A confirmation email with all event details will be sent to those registered closer to the event. If you have any questions, please email customercare@girlscoutsoc.org
  • This event accepts GSOC Cookie Dough, GSOC OC Bucks, and GSOC Juliette Dollars! Girls must complete online registration and pay in full.  Next fill out the Reimbursement form prior to participating in the event.

$55.00 per Adult In-Council
$55.00 per GSOC Girl Scout
$65.00 per Adult Out of Council
$65.00 per Girl Scout Out of Council Member
Cancellation Policy
All cancellation requests must be received at least 14 days prior to the event and are subject to a $5 administrative fee. Cancellation requests must be in writing to customercare@girlscoutsoc.org. Please include: Participant's Name, Event Name and Event Date. No refunds will be made if cancellations are received after 14 days. If a program is cancelled by GSOC, all refunds will be paid in full. No-shows are non-refundable. Certain events may have their own refund policy; see GSOC Event Calendar or event flyer for specific guidelines.
