Girls Weekend Camp

Camp Scherman is the perfect place for a girls weekend to have fun and discover the outdoors with their special Girl Scout – moms, grandmas, aunts, or any other special gal! Together, you can enjoy the beauty of camp while you canoe, hike, and participate in other camp activities. Together, you’ll create memories to last a lifetime! Daisy (K-1), Brownie (2-3), Junior (4-5), Cadette (6-8), Senior (9-10), Ambassador (11-12). Pricing for the Ranch House Cabins is listed below. All weekend camps must have a proper girl-to-adult ratio.

**Updated Pricing for 2024 Weekend Camps**

Every camper should have the opportunity to attend camp, regardless of their financial situation. The three-tiered pricing program allows troops and families to see the actual “per participant” cost (Tier 3) to operate Camp Scherman for Weekend Camps and choose from the three pricing options.  Please select the pricing tier most appropriate for your family and or troops' financial circumstances.  All participants will have the same unforgettable camp experience, regardless of the pricing tier.

Ranch House Cabin pricing includes cabins with heat and electricity, programming facilitated by camp staff, and four meals starting with breakfast on Saturday and ending with breakfast on Sunday.

  • Tier 1 = $200
  • Tier 2 = $230
  • Tier 3 = $265

A confirmation email with all camp details will be sent to those registered closer to camp.

GSOC follows current CDC COVID-19 guidelines. Event participants will be notified if additional action is required.

This event accepts GSOC Cookie Dough, GSOC Bucks, and GSOC Juliette Dollars! Girls must complete online registration and pay in full.  Next fill out the Reimbursement form prior to participating in the event.

Due to California legislation, all volunteers attending weekend camps must complete the online child abuse identification and reporting training and a fingerprint-based background check. If you have not completed this process, please email customercare@girlscoutsoc.org and put child abuse training and/or fingerprinting inquiry in the subject line.

California Assembly Bill No. 506 requires 1) any administrator, employee, or regular volunteer (those who volunteer more than 16 hours in a month or 32 hours in a year) of a California youth service organization to complete training in identifying and reporting child abuse and neglect, and 2) require California youth-serving organizations to include fingerprinting as part of its background screening.

Suppose you are coming to weekend camp as a parent/guardian and girl pair and are not supervising girls who are not related to you in any capacity. In that case, you may not meet the fingerprinting and Mandated Reporter training requirement.
