Yorba Linda day camp provides a safe and supportive environment where girls make new friends, try new things, and collect life-long memories. Girls participate daily in badge activities, crafts, sing songs, play games, participate in theme activities and enjoy the outdoors. Girls are assigned to camper units by their age and Girl Scout age level.
This year's camp will explore taking flight to exciting destinations, both in and out of this world!
Optional field trip: Field Trip for girls entering 5th grade and older to Columbia Memorial Space Center includes tour of museum and hands on activities. Field Trip will be on Thursday, bus transportation to and from camp provided in field trip fee of $25.
Pixie Campers (3-4 years old): Pixies must be fully potty trained and attend camp with a full-time adult volunteer. Cost is $20 a day for 1-2 days or $50 for the week (3-5 days).
Boy Campers (5-10 years old): Boys may only attend day camp with a full-time adult volunteer. Cost is $20 a day for 1-2 days or $50 for the week (3-5 days).
Adult Volunteers: Volunteers Needed! Our camp is fully operated by volunteers so help from camper adult family and friends is required. Come join us for a day or the week and enjoy the magic of camp! Camp activities are led by teen Girl Scouts. Adult roles are to encourage and supervise camper participation. You do not have to prepare anything prior to camp. We require one adult for every 6 campers. Campers and Troops with adult volunteers are placed first. If we are unable to place a camper due to lack of volunteers, a full refund will be issued.
Who can Volunteer: Parent/guardians, siblings over 18, grandparents, college students, aunts, and anyone else over 18 that meets the registration and mandate requirement. Volunteers must become registered members of Girl Scouts.
All volunteers attending Service Unit Day camps must complete a name-based background check, fingerprint-based background check and an online Mandated Reporter Training.
If you have not completed this process, email customercare@girlscoutsoc.org and put Mandated Reporter Training and/or Fingerprinting in the subject line.
The only exception to this is if you’re volunteering for only 1 day.
