Time: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Theme: Cowgirl Roundup
Email: orangegirlscoutdaycamp@gmail.com
Camp Director: Teresa Beach

Yee-Haw partner! Saddle up and mosey on down to Cowgirl Roundup for a weeklong outdoor adventure where the spirit of the Old West comes alive. Experience classic Girl Scout activities like crafts, games and songs presented with rustic frontier-style.
Field Trip to Knott's Berry Farm to enjoy an Adventures in Education Program! Camp fees for Girl Scout Camper, Youth Staff, and Boy Camper include field trip. There is an additional fee for Pixies and Part-Time Adult Volunteers that would like to attend the field trip. The field trip is scheduled for Thursday, June 18th.
Adult Volunteers: Since our day camp is organized and staffed entirely by volunteers, we need adults to register as volunteers. The best time to sign up as a volunteer is when you sign your camper up! Grandparents, aunts, uncles, family friends are all welcome! Full-time volunteers who attend 5 full days will be reimbursed up to $90 of the paid registration for 1 camper or youth staff. Reimbursements will be issued on the last day of camp. To attend the field trip, you must sign up as an adult volunteer before May 3rd. No volunteers will be added to attend the field trip after that date. Contact us at orangegirlscoutdaycamp@gmail.com for more details about the field trip. Please note all adult volunteers must be or become a registered member of Girl Scouts and complete the Orange Day Camp Volunteer Training and the GSOC Day Camp Adult Volunteer Online Training.
To meet the child to adult ratio set by GSUSA and to ensure the health and safety of our campers, we need adequate numbers of adult volunteers to be able to place all Campers who want to attend day camp. Girls and troops who provide volunteers will be placed first. Campers without adult volunteers will be placed as child to adult ratios are covered. Help us place all our campers and volunteer!
All volunteers attending Service Unit Day camps must complete a name-based background check, fingerprint-based background check and an online Mandated Reporter Training.
If you have not completed this process, email customercare@girlscoutsoc.org and put Mandated Reporter Training and/or Fingerprinting in the subject line.
The only exception to this is if you’re volunteering for only 1 day.
One t-shirt is included for all campers, youth staff, boys, pixies and adult volunteers who are working 3 or more days. Extra t-shirts may be ordered at $15 per shirt.
