Huntington Beach Girl Scout Day Camp 2026

Put on your detective hat and join us for an action-packed week of investigation, problem-solving, adventures and new friendships. You will develop critical thinking skills while uncovering clues, solving mysteries, and learning what it takes to be a Girl Scout Investigator. Camp activities will include badge steps for each level, visits from professional investigators, plus Girl Scout traditions like songs and games.

Jr. Program Aides: Jr. PAs are 6th grade or higher Cadettes who participate in their own camp unit. Prior camp experience is not required. Jr. PAs learn from PAs and will shadow a PA on the final day of camp as they progress into the role of PA. On the final day of camp, they will earn recognition as an incoming PA for the next year and will share their chosen camp name.

Program Aides: PAs (Program Aides) are Senior and Ambassador Girl Scouts who've had prior PA or Jr. PA experience, or who are able to participate in planning and running stations at HB Girl Scouts Day Camp. Planning sessions occur during spring--prior to camp--and are required for all PAs. PAs serve as leadership models for younger Girl Scouts by acting within the GS Promise and Law in guiding campers through stations, teaching them skills, songs and games that make camp such a memorable and magical experience.

Adult Volunteers: Adult Volunteers NEEDED! We can't run this camp without YOU! We are looking for registered Girl Scout Volunteers.

Adult Volunteer Rebates:

• Full-time adult volunteers will receive a 55% rebate on one of their campers' registrations and 25% rebate for a Pixie or Boy Camper registration.
• Part-time adult volunteers will receive a $10 rebate per day they volunteer for one camper.

 All volunteers attending Service Unit Day camps must complete a name-based background check, fingerprint-based background check and an online Mandated Reporter Training.

If you have not completed this process, email customercare@girlscoutsoc.org and put Mandated Reporter Training and/or Fingerprinting in the subject line. 

The only exception to this is if you're volunteering for only 1 day.

Why is this required?

All adult volunteers, Program Aides, and Junior Program Aides will receive a t-shirt. One extra t-shirt is available for purchase during registration for $15.

Please Note: Health history and other camp forms will be collected digitally through CampDoc.com, a secure and easy-to-use electronic health record system for camps. Look for an invitation email from CampDoc.com approximately one week after registration is completed. All forms must be completed prior to Day Camp.

This event accepts GSOC Cookie Dough, GSOC OC Bucks, and GSOC Juliette Dollars! Girls must complete online registration and pay in full. Cookie, OC Bucks, and Juliette Dollars must be submitted to the camp director prior to attending camp. You will receive a refund at the conclusion of camp and once the amount has been verified.
