Time: 10 am - 3 pm
Theme: Camp Girl Quest

Camp Directors: Cindy Cline and Craig Kobayashi

Welcome to Camp Girl Quest, where Girl Scout adventure meets game-inspired fun!

Daisy, Brownie and Junior Girl Scouts are invited to step into a real-life "game world" filled with quests, challenges, and goofy giggles, but played outside in the fresh air! Campers will team up with new friends, explore their "map", and take on exciting missions designed to spark confidence, kindness, and courage.

The best part? This camp is planned and led by our amazing team of Girls of Extra Maturity (GEMs)-your friendly "Game Guides" for the day! They'll help campers level up through:

  • Game-themed crafts (create, build, and decorate like a true maker!)
  • Silly outdoor games and laugh-out-loud challenges
  • Scavenger hunts packed with clues, surprises, and teamwork wins
  • Self-expression opportunities to become their character
  • Obstacle courses to jump, crawl, balance, and race through
  • Fun group activities that feel like co-op mode in real life

Along the way, campers will learn classic Girl Scout songs, work toward earning badges, and collect the best rewards of all: new friendships, big smiles, and memories they'll talk about forever. So, grab your imagination, bring your best teamwork, and get ready to play outside, power up your skills, and unlock an epic Girl Scout week!

Volunteer & Camper Information:

Adult Volunteers: Volunteers Needed! Our camp can't run without adult support! We need 1 full-time adult volunteer for every 6 campers. If you're able to help, we would love to have you join us. No registration fee for adult volunteers this year!

4+ day adult volunteers will receive a $50 rebate for their day camper at the conclusion of day camp.

Volunteer training is required for all adults and will occur the month before day camp.

All volunteers attending Service Unit Day camps must be a registered Girl Scout member who has successfully completed a name-based background check, fingerprint-based background check and online Mandated Reporter Training prior to the start of camp.

If you have not completed this process, email customercare@girlscoutsoc.org and put Mandated Reporter Training and/or Fingerprinting in the subject line.

The only exception to this is if you’re volunteering for only 1 day.

Why is this required?

Youth Staff (GEM - Girl Scouts entering 7th-12th grade): We will have monthly planning meetings from February through May for the GEMs to design and plan their adventures with their campers! GEMs participating in the planning of day camp will complete requirements towards the Program Aide Award or the Volunteer in Training Award.

Pixie Campers (Ages 3-5): Pixies must be fully potty trained and attend camp with a parent or guardian volunteer.

Boy Campers (Ages 6-9): Boys may only attend day camp with a parent or guardian volunteer.

Food: Campers should bring a sack lunch each day. Snacks will be provided.

Parking & Drop Off Information: Day camp will be held at La Bonita Park in La Habra. We recommend parking in the north parking accessible from Whittier Blvd, which provides the most direct access to our camp area. Please Note: All campers must be signed in and out each day by a parent or guardian. A photo ID is required at pick-up each day for camper sign-out—no exceptions. Campers will not be released to walk out to vehicles or the parking lot unattended. For everyone’s safety, we ask that you park and walk your camper to and from the designated check-in area. Thank you for helping us keep camp safe and organized!
