Dreams to Reality is GSOC’s premier career exploration event, for Girl Scouts in grades 8-12, to gain insight and inspiration by learning about different careers, participating in hands-on adulting situational games, getting a glimpse into university life through campus chats with Girl Scout alums currently in college, and more!
Some of the activities featured at the event are:
- Career Worlds - Girls will hear from variety of career women who will share their learning path, what motivated their career choice and a "day in the life" glimpse into a typical day of that career.
- Networking Tools: Girls will develop a working resume, elevator speech and video interviews and other networking tools, social presence
- Reality Town: Adulting 101 - Girls will participate in a "game of life" reality check as they learn hands on what it might be like to manage finances, develop budgets and overcome challenges based on life choices they may face as an adult.
- Campus Chats - Girls will enjoy sharing informal lunchtime chat with Girl Scout alum, now college students, about life in college and how to prepare mentally and scholastically.
Only $10 per Girl Scout! The event cost is kept low by a generous grant from our friends at The Disneyland Resort®, workforce development project.

This event accepts GSOC Cookie Dough, GSOC Bucks, and GSOC Juliette Dollars! Girls must complete online registration and pay in full. Next fill out the Reimbursement form prior to participating in the event.
