Girl Scout and Adult Volunteers Needed!

When: January 10, 2027 - In-person event

Time: 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Location: Anaheim, CA

Celebrate! Kick off an amazing Cookie Season with hundreds of your Girl Scout sisters at our Cookie Kickoff! Get ready to learn, laugh, and have fun as you explore the 5 skills, discover tips for a successful Cookie Program, and build excitement for the season ahead. It's the perfect way to connect with fellow Girl Scouts, celebrate your goals, and get Cookie Season ready!

Station Volunteers:

Help Girl Scouts get Cookie Season ready! As a Station Volunteer, you'll lead fun, interactive activities that introduce Girl Scouts to the Cookie Program and the 5 Skills. Share how Cookie Proceeds make a difference, explore Cookie Share and cookie history, and introduce the rewards Girl Scouts and troops can earn. You'll also help Girl Scouts discover creative sales techniques for booths, door-to-door selling, and online sales-including a cookie taste test to build their customer conversation skills.

Your enthusiasm will help Girl Scouts build confidence, set goals, and develop skills they can use far beyond Cookie Season!

Flag Patrol, Media Girls, Show Girls, & Travel Patrol:

Registration is by invitation only.

IMPORTANT: Adults registering as volunteers under Flag Patrol, Media Girls, and Show Girls are expected to volunteer at a station where help is needed. It is not guaranteed that you will be placed with your Girl Scout. You will be contacted prior to the event with a volunteer assignment. If you're unable to volunteer you must register as a participant through the Guest Registration.

Cost:

All Adults: $10

Station Volunteers: $10 per Girl Scout and Adult

Station Volunteers & All Adult Volunteers Registration includes: 

Cookie Kickoff T-Shirt if registered by December 1st.

Volunteer thank you and exclusive patch.

Girl Scouts with Flag Patrol, Media Girls, Show Girls, & Travel Patrol Registration Includes:

Volunteer thank you and exclusive patch.

They will have the option to receive a SWAG bag at an additional $5 cost.

*SWAG Bag Includes: Bag, Activity Book, Patch, Box of Cookies (while supplies last), & Hands-on Activities.

**Note: there is no price difference if there are no more boxes of cookies left to distribute.

All Adult Volunteers MUST have a Girl Scout Membership, completed name-based background screening and Mandated Reporter Training.

Each Girl Scout volunteer must have an adult registered to attend Kickoff as a volunteer or participant. 

*Girl Scout Volunteers must be at the Junior-Ambassador level (5th-12th graders only).

**Carpooling is strongly recommended as parking is limited**

**This is not a drop-off event. Girl Scouts must attend with a registered adult troop leader or another designated responsible adult. Adult attendance is required to maintain proper ratios. See registration for pricing. No tagalongs, please.  

*This event is open to troops, Juliettes, and those with an active membership awaiting placement in a troop!

This event accepts GSOC Cookie Dough, GSOC OC Bucks, and GSOC Juliette Dollars! Girls must complete online registration and pay in full. Then fill out the Reimbursement form prior to participating in the event.
