2024 Ladera Valley Service Unit Day Camp

LVSU will host a four-day summer day camp in Ladera Ranch. We will plan fun-filled and educational activities within a theme chosen by the GEM.
We will also plan for a celebration day on the last day of camp Thursday, July 25, 2024.
This is a new location, and we will work with the Ladera Ranch Maintenance Corporation (LARMAC) to ensure that we are abiding by their rules and guidelines.
Adult Volunteers: Adult volunteers are essential for the supervision and success of Day Camp. For every 6 girls we need one full-time volunteer. Accepting both part-time and full-time volunteers.
All volunteers attending Service Unit Day camps must complete a fingerprint-based background check and an online child abuse identification/reporting training.
If you have not completed this process, email customercare@girlscoutsoc.org and put Child Abuse Training and/or Fingerprinting in the subject line.
The only exception to this is if you’re volunteering for only 1 day.
Adults and Youth staff must attend four mandatory GEM meetings Dates to Be Announced.

Health history and other camp forms will be collected through CampDoc.com, a secure and easy-to use electronic health record system for camps. Look for an invitation email from CampDoc.com approximately one week after registration is completed. All forms must be completed 2 weeks prior to Day Camp.
This event accepts Cookie Dough, OC Bucks, and Juliette Dollars! Girls must complete online registration and pay in full. Cookie dough must be submitted to the Camp Director
