Silver Award Training 7-19-17

Adult Training recommended for Cadette Leaders wishing to mentor girls in earning the Girl Scout Silver Award.

The Girl Scout Silver Award is the highest award that can be earned by a Girl Scout Cadette in the 6-8th grades. Guidelines for earning the Silver Award are found in the Handbook section of The Girl's Guide to Girl Scouting for Cadettes.

Course Objectives:

  • The workshop is designed for adults working with girls who have completed or nearly completed a Cadette Journey (MeDia, Breathe, or aMaze) and are ready to focus on the Silver Award Take Action project.
  • Participants will understand what it means to Take Action and how to use the Guidelines for Girl Scout Cadettes to support girls' efforts to make the world a better place.

Courtesy: In order to create an effective learning environment for all, our volunteer trainers are unable to accommodate children at this training. Additionally, arriving more than 20 minutes after the start of class may cause you to forfeit credit for this class. Please plan accordingly.
