Girl Scout Seniors and Ambassadors are invited to Saddleback College to find out about the world of manufacturing! For the first time, Saddleback College will be opening its doors to the manufacturing lab exclusively for Girl Scouts to watch and interact with sophisticated equipment that does additive and subtractive manufacturing. Join us and learn to program a CNC machine to cut your designs into metal to take home, make a silicone mold, and witness complex cuts and layering of material. This is a fun event to introduce girls to the world of manufacturing. Morning snack and fun patch included.
Special Instructions: Closed toe shoes, no dangling jewelry, hair tied back.
This is a drop-off event. However, we need 2 adult volunteers to supervise Girl Scouts during the event. Must be GSOC registered and background screened. Please sign-up if you're interested.
**All girls registered must be in the Girl Scout level that the event is for. Please verify each participant's grade level via MyGS before registering. GSOC will confirm her grade level prior to the event. Registrations for individuals outside of the specified Girl Scout level or grade for this event will be cancelled without refund**
