Bronze Award Training (Yorba Linda Program Center)
Adult Training recommended for Junior troop Leaders wishing to mentor girls in earning the Girl Scout Bronze Award.
The Girl Scout Bronze Award is the highest award that can be earned by a Girl Scout Junior in the 4-5th grades. Guidelines for earning the Bronze Award are found in the Handbook section of The Girl's Guide to Girl Scouting for Juniors.
Course Objectives:
- The workshop is designed for adults working with girls who have completed or nearly completed a Junior Journey (aMuse, Get Moving, or Agent of Change) and are ready to focus on the Bronze Award Take Action project.
- Participants will understand what it means to Take Action and how to use the Guidelines for Girl Scout Juniors to support girls' efforts to make the world a better place.
